The much sought after acorn – in space!
Not nearly enough is said about chipmunks and their planes on this site, so this entire post is dedicated to the little furry rodents.
After the acorn collecting of Acorns Above, the chipmunks realized that what they really needed was a single player campaign! So, over the past few months, we’ve been working on the art assets for the successor to Acorns Above – Acorns Above: A World Gone Nuts.
A World Gone Nuts will address the issues found in the Acorns Above! beta, and give the game a full single player campaign with twelve levels. The current plan is to release the levels in packs of four, after a possible initial demo level. The rodents are branching out, with spaceships, new levels, and epic quests to secure their planet from foreign squirrel invasion!
Technology moves forward! At last, chipmunks are protected from the vacuum of space.
The story starts in space, after the discovery of the foreign W.H.A.T. devices. The chipmunks of earth realized that the invading rodents had to be stopped. They also realized that they didn’t survive well in biplanes in space. So, they launched their very own space program! Armed with lasers and missile pods, they are now taking to the dark cold reaches of the solar system to beat back the alien menace. . .
A World Gone Nuts will be available for PC and Android.
